Core Work on the Feetup Trainer

Last Fall a company reached out to me about reviewing their yoga prop. I love using props in my practice and my teaching .. plus this was the FeetUp Trainer! I had seen this prop in use all over social media & I was dying to try it!

Well it was pretty much love at first play date! I made a complete tutorial on uses for the feetup - like inversions, backbends, active stretching drills - you can find it on my instagram feed.

This is the third week of our new format!  We are working for the month of June toward Parsva Bakasana

Our prep pose this week is Lolasana or PendantPose

🔻 Lolasana is TOUGH!  But so important for training core + shoulder strength, endurance, & a general sense of BOSS!

🔻 Practicing lolasana with dedication is key to improve your arm balances, handstands, and jump throughs!  Convinced???

Our Yoga School pose of the week is #Bhekasana #FrogPose

🔻 Bhekasana is a demanding backbending pose!  While it may not look big & dramatic - the work to create the shape is intense.  This pose not only develops flexibility in the quadriceps & shoulders, it also requires it.  The same goes for strength - builds & demands it!

🔻 Be sure to do a proper warm-up prior to working with Frog Pose.  My 2nd video demonstrates several postures that would be helpful prep.
